Your Nursing Training Begins with Us

The purpose of nursing and midwifery education is to enable the student to obtain a qualification that makes him/her eligible for registration by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana and to assume the responsibilities and accountability that Midwifery registration imposes.

Objectives

To train young men and women to uphold the ethical and professional standards of  Nursing and Midwifery.

 To train competent and dedicated nurses and midwives who would espouse health maintenance and promotion.

Our Programs

General Nursing (RGN)

This three-year program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to enter the healthcare system as practical Nurses.

Registered Midwifery (RM)

A diploma in the subject of midwifery enables a student to fully engage with the ancient art, science, and practice of pre-and post-natal care for women and children.

Post NAP/NAC Midwifery

A diploma in the subject of midwifery enables a student to fully engage with the ancient art, science, and practice of pre-and post-natal care for women and children.

Competition

Special mention is made of our former Post Basic Midwifery(PBM) student, Christiana Tawiah, who emerged as the overall best student in Ghana in the Post NAP/NAC category in the Nursing and Midwifery Council exams organized in 2021.

Athletics

Our students are passionate about sports and athletics and have the freedom to choose the one they like and wish to take up.
