Goaso NMTC History
The Nursing and Midwifery Training College is located in Goaso Municipality in the Asunafo North Municipal in the Ahafo Region of Ghana. The College was established in 2010. The school runs Registered General Nursing, Registered Midwifery, and Post NAP/NAC Midwifery programs.
The college has a student population of 1,070 and a Teaching Staff of 25 and 73 Non-Teaching Staff.
The organizational structure is headed by a principal and assisted by the Vice Principal and one dean of students. The structure has a Finance Department, Administration Department, and Catering Department.
The institution since its inception has carried out its core duties conscientiously and has achieved immense success in the training of students. Our students’ performance in Licensing Examination organized by the Nursing and Midwifery Counsel of Ghana has progressively increased from 80% passes in our maiden exams in 2012 to 100% in 2016, and 95% in 2022.
